The Black Girl Dollshouse Club


The Black Girl Dollshouse Club is a space I created for people of all Nationalities to enjoy the world of dollshouse appreciation and making through our own perspectives. A space to redesign and interpret the 'traditional' Period dollshouse aesthetic for us and our wider community.

I love to use fabric offcuts and unusual upcycled materials such as wood effect floor tile offcuts and embellished fabric scrap pieces that I find when scouring Antique markets and CarBoot sales. All my miniature furniture is handmade by me from scratch.

With the extended times being 'locked down' and looking for a small craft object to make, to looking for a unique family heirloom that can be handed down to the next generation. There is a multitude of entry levels for someone wanting to explore the charm of the world in miniature form.







The Museum of the Home


As the Resident Miniaturist for the Museum of the Home in Hoxton, East London, my role is to encourage people to walk through the Rooms Through Time and visualise, come to Workshops, and create their own miniature world that reflects their own backgrounds and interests.

My miniature International Women's Month Tablescape (above) was on display there from March to November 2022. Keep posted for new miniature concepts at The Museum.
